College of Arts & Sciences

The Department of Catholic Studies faculty are dedicated professors and researchers who hold the highest academic degrees and are open to the fullness of Truth across disciplines. Those who teach Catholic theology and Catholic theological subjects do so within the full communion of the Catholic Church, and all listen carefully, take to heart the dialogue between faith and reason and genuinely believe in the human capacity to advance along the path of Truth. This lofty aspiration of finding the authentic Truth and putting it into action is the most precious gift Catholic Studies faculty can give to our students.

Many of our faculty are also actively engaged in interdisciplinary research and have won a variety of prestigious awards including Fulbright and Humboldt Research scholarships and grants. To access our faculty’s latest research and publications, click here.
