Welcome to Japan Week 2016
April 4 - April 8
Unzip History and Culture of Japan

As we set our course for the new millennium, Japan Week 2016 gives us the opportunity to build a bridge between cultures that will enable us to share our knowledge and experiences of Japan through lectures, symposia, work-shops, events, and awards. Japan Week 2016 demonstrates SHU’s ongoing commitment to bringing together people of different religions, cultures, and ethnic backgrounds. Now in its 18th year, Japan Week seeks to foster a greater understanding of Japan and its people. It is our hope that participants will become leaders in a flourishing dialogue between Japan and the United States and will work towards building a more peaceful global community.
