Maureen Judd-van Eerd (LT 5)
accepted a position with the Joint Commission International as and administrator surveyor and she has begun her new position with training at headquarters in Chicago. She will continue her training as a surveyor observer in Amman, Beijing and Shanghai. Joint Commission International (JCI) is a division of Joint Commission Resources (JCR), the not-for-profit affiliate of The Joint Commission.
Chip Coon (LT 4) has been awarded his Doctor of Health Administration (D.H.A.) degree from the College of Health Professions, Medical University of South Carolina.
Brian Scott (LT 19) has accepted a position with Premier, Inc. , a leading hospital performance improvement alliance with 1,700 participating not-for-profit hospitals and health systems serving communities nationwide. Brian will be working with all alliance members in the state of Texas and reports that “… his graduate-level degree was a great influence in securing this position.”
John Vigorita, M.D. (LT 15) was recently named one of the top doctors in the New Jersey Monthly annual "List of Top Doctors in New Jersey." Listed in the Pediatric category among the top ten pediatricians in New Jersey, John is on the attending staff of Overlook Hospital and has an office practice in Summit. The Top Doctors in New Jersey honored in this list represent 2.2% of the total number of practicing physicians in New Jersey, according to New Jersey Monthly.
Elizabeth Olsen (LT 17) has accepted a new position within Mercy Care Community Physicians, based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Elizabeth is transitioning into a strategic and consultative role and will become part of a management team responsible for 75 physicians, 21 facilities, and over 400 employees.
