Rev. Stanley L. Jaki, O.S.B.As part of the yearly Physics Colloquium guest lectures, the Physics department has set up a yearly Fr. Stanley L. Jaki, O.S.B Distinguished Lecture.

Stanley Ladislas Jaki was a world-renowned author, physicist, philosopher, and theologian. Fr. Jaki joined the Department of Physics faculty of Seton Hall in 1965  where he went on to attain the rank of Distinguished University Professor of Physics in 1975. Learn more about Fr. Jaki »

2011 Distinguished Lecture

Living through Four Revolutions
Professor Freeman Dyson of the Institute for Advanced Study

The talk will cover an overview of the past 65 years of science and will focus on the four scientific revolutions: space, nuclear energy, genomics and electronic computing. The lecture will take place on November 14, 2011 at 6 p.m. in the Helen Lerner Amphitheatre (McNulty Hall Rm. 101).
