Program Description

In the business and professional world, you are often faced with the challenges of running a meeting, putting together a presentation, and speaking before small and large groups.Whether you have weeks or just minutes to prepare, knowing how to quickly get organized, utilize the right speaking skills, and consider your audience are all keys to being successful.

As a participant, you will:

Paula Horii is a communications professional with extensive experience both in the classroom and in business. She is on the Adjunct Faculty at Seton Hall University where she teaches Business Writing in the Department of English. She has also taught several courses in Seton Hall's Department of Communication and The Arts. She is currently principal, Cardinal Public Relations LLC, and worked for many years in public relations at AT&T, Lucent Technologies and Avaya. Before that, she worked as a news reporter for The Star-Ledger. She holds a bachelor's degree in English from Rutgers and a master's degree in media ecology from New York University.
