President
Ryan is a wealth management advisor and assistant vice president at Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc. Ryan has held various positions on the Alumni Board and is now handling the alumni scorecard which keeps track of the progress and goals of each board member throughout the year. He resides in Livingston, N.J. with his wife Susan and their son.

Assad Akhter '03 is currently the Deputy Chief of Staff for Congressman Bill Pascrell, Jr. (D-NJ). In this capacity he is directly responsible for managing the local district offices and staff for the 9th Congressional District of New Jersey. Before this assignment, Assad served as the Legislative Director in the Washington, DC office where he oversaw the Congressman’s legislative agenda and staff as he was tasked with coordinating the Congressman’s position on the House Ways & Means Committee as well as staffing his assignment on the House Homeland Security Committee. Apart from his official legislative duties, Assad is a co-founder and past President of the Congressional Muslim Staff Association (CMSA).

Lisa is currently a Broker-Associate for Berkshire Hathaway Home Services, Fox and Roach Realtors in Princeton, NJ. She is an award winning real estate professional having been the recipient of numerous awards including the NJAR Circle of Excellence Award and the Berkshire Hathaway Leading Edge Society Award. She is also a former member of the Alumni Board and the Board of Regents at Seton Hall. Lisa currently resides in Princeton, NJ with her husband Matt and their son Robert.

Kimberly is a labor and employment law attorney with Archer & Greiner, P.C. in Hackensack. Her broad range of experience includes nationwide representation of employers in wage and hour matters, injunctions and employment discrimination claims involving sex, race, age, religion or handicap. She has served on various committees at the University and Seton Hall Law. She and her husband, Juan Trillo, J.D. ’01, live in Jersey City.

Edward is a clinical nurse and currently works at New York Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, in the Surgical ICU. He is also working at St. Josephs Regional Trauma Center in Paterson NJ in their Trauma and Surgical ICU.

Colleen is currently the director of student activities at Hudson County Community College in Jersey City. Colleen has remained within the education sector working in various roles at colleges and universities throughout the region. She serves as a regional risk management consultant and chapter adviser for Delta Phi Epsilon sorority, keynote speaker at student leadership conferences, as well as an adjunct professor at Montclair State University and Hudson County Community College. Colleen currently resides in Montclair, N.J. with her husband, William Petrick '07.

Jane DeTullio served as a full-time instructor in the English department of Monmouth University and as director of the University's Writing Center. She currently runs her own business, JD Wordsmith, LLC, through which she writes articles, press releases, and web pages for businesses. She also edits manuscripts, dissertations, business plans, proposal memoranda, and assists students with college application essays for undergraduate and graduate school admission.

Samuel Gardner III, M.A. '11 is currently an Assignment Manager on the CBS 3 and The CW Philly’s Eyewitness News team. Prior to joining CBS, Gardner served as Assignment Editor/Futures Coverage Planner at the NFL Network in California. Previously, he was National Assignment Editor for CNN which he joined in 2007. While at CNN, Gardner was part of the 2008 Peabody Award-winning team that produced the Presidential Debates and campaign coverage. Gardner has also held positions at ABC NewsOne, WSB-TV in Atlanta, Georgia and WSOC-TV in Charlotte, North Carolina. A graduate of Morris Brown College in Atlanta, Georgia, Gardner earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism. He also completed a Master of Arts degree in strategic communication and leadership from Seton Hall University.

Ryan graduated in 2011 with a dual degree in Sports Management and Finance. Upon graduating, he chose to pursue a career in retail management, and is currently an Assistant Store Manager with Kohl's Department Stores. Ryan resides in Vernon, NJ, and serves as both the liaison between the Alumni Board and Student Alumni Association, and the co-chair of the Young Alumni Committee.

After selling soap for Lever Brothers, working at Y&R Advertising, and doing a two year hitch as a Training Sergeant in the U.S Army, Chuck started in account management at Ogilvy & Mather, a worldwide advertising agency, in 1970. While at Ogilvy, Chuck managed accounts like Maxwell House Coffee, Pepperidge Farm, Merrill Lynch, American Express, AT&T and Shell Oil. He retired as a senior partner in 2009. He and his wife Eileen have lived in Middletown, N.J. for 40 years. They have two grown daughters and two grandsons.

Cristin is a Senior Account Executive at Coyne PR, a full-service, integrated communications agency based in Parsippany, NJ. A member of the agency’s Consumer Lifestyle practice, Cristin helps lead Coyne’s wine and spirits accounts. In addition to the Alumni Board, she is a founding member of the University’s Young Alumni Club and active in Public Relations Society of America and New York Women in Communications. Cristin currently resides in Morristown. She holds a B.A. in Communication from Seton Hall.

Cynthia is the senior manager of business operations at PwC Strategy & (US) Inc. in Florham Park, N.J. She works closely with the partner lead of a global market team to execute the teams strategic agenda and manage the business profitably. Having been with Strategy & (formerly Booz & Co., formerly Booz Allen Hamilton) for her entire career, Cynthia has held various positions in the firm, including senior manager of strategic planning & analysis, manager of MBA recruitment and senior financial analyst. She is experienced in leading and motivating teams and managing staff. She also has a solid background in the development and delivery of high impact deliverables, leveraging a wide range of business skills and proficiencies. Cynthia currently resides in Montclair with her husband Rich and their two children, Ethan and Eva.

Natasha Lima works as a risk specialist in the Enterprise Risk Management Department at Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield in Newark, NJ. In this role she is responsible for assisting business owners in documenting and communicating their risks, ensuring robust risk responses and presenting related financial impacts to senior management. She works closely with actuaries to model out different scenarios of what could occur to the business if the risks were to materialize. She is also responsible for completing many regulatory filings with the Department of Banking and Insurance, as well as Standard & Poor’s surveys and briefings. Natasha currently resides in Union City, N.J.

Bill Maloney is a Partner with EY’s Advisory Services Media and Entertainment Practice based in New York and leads the EY Global Advertising and Measurement practice. His area of expertise is in business process and system transformations. He has over 25 years of experience implementing large, global, complex ERP based business transformations. Bill graduated from the Stillman School of Business in 1986 with a BS in Finance.

Robert Manganaro

Robert is the director of student affairs at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York and Los Angeles. Robert graduated Seton Hall with a B.A. in English and a minor in music in 1999. He then received his M.A. in student personnel services, with a focus in individual counseling at Rowan University in 2001. Following his master's degree, Robert spent two years at Teachers College, Columbia University studying developmental psychology. Robert has also served as an adjunct professor at both Rutgers University and Middlesex College, teaching English composition and building community. A native of Princeton, N.J., Robert currently resides on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.

Tiffany is the Marketing & Communications Specialist for the New Jersey Redevelopment Authority.  She is a former manager for the Seton Hall Men’s Basketball Team.  She is currently a member of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, as well as a small business owner. Tiffany resides in Somerset, NJ.

Dawn M. Mueller ’89
Dawn Mueller has extensive experience in marketing, professional services, and life sciences. She currently works for Deloitte Services LLP as the Consulting Sector Marketing Leader for Life Sciences. Dawn worked for KPMG/BearingPoint where she served in numerous roles including promotions and events, industry marketing, alliance marketing with a concentration on ERP vendors, and solutions marketing. Her background also includes CSC where Dawn was charged with leading the marketing effort for their Global Health Services business unit, and Porzio, Bromberg & Newman, a law firm specializing in pharmaceutical defense work and an image intelligence software company targeting life sciences and medical imaging industry segments.

Michael is an entrepreneur and owner of a management consulting and financial management firm, VM Global Consulting. Prior to founding VM Global in 2014, Michael was an analyst at Goldman Sachs and Dixon Advisory, covering Municipal Bonds and residential real estate. Michael is a very active alumnus and is involved with several non-profit organizations. He graduated Seton Hall with degrees in finance and business management.

Shana is a senior marketing communications manager at Coyne PR, a full-service, integrated communications agency based in Parsippany, N.J. A member of the agency’s new business and marketing team, Shana leads PR and marketing for the agency, as well as new business development efforts spanning a range of client industries. In addition to the Alumni Board, she is a founding member of the University’s Young Alumni Club and is active in the Public Relations Society of America. Shana currently resides in Clifton, N.J. and holds a B.A. in communication, with a minor in advertising art & design.

Eric is an underwriter for HCC Global Financial Products in Jersey City. His area of expertise is Directors & Officers & Professional Liability Insurance with a concentration in the financial institutions sector. In addition to his activities with the Alumni Board, he also serves as a vice president on the New Jersey Environmental Lobby Board of Directors and is the captain of the Friends of Matt Fundraising Team to combat ALS every spring. He resides in Morris Township, N.J. with his wife Annaliese ‘86/’91 and daughter Allison.

Dan is 2nd Vice President of Call Center Operations at New York Life Investments in Parsippany, NJ. He serves as Chairman of the Joint Planning/Zoning Board for the borough of Bogota where he lives with his wife Melissa who is studying for her M.B.A. at Seton Hall.

Sharon Seitzman is president of QualCare, Inc. Prior to her current position, Sharon held the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at QualCare. In that role she was responsible for daily operations of Human Resources, Medical Management, Claims, Customer Service and Client Services. She joined QualCare in 1999, as the Vice President of HMO Operations. Ms. Seitzman holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Seton Hall University.
