Pirate Fitness

University Fitness CenterThe fitness center stands dramatically at the crossroads of the South Orange campus, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering abundant natural light and stunning views of the Walsh library, Immaculate Conception Seminary and beyond. The fitness center occupies three levels of the building and includes spa-like locker rooms, a variety of weight-training stations, 75 cardio machines and two dance studios, where more than 30 fitness classes including Yoga, Kickboxing Zumba, Pilates and more will take place weekly. Each of the cardio stations features a personal HDTV monitor with internet access that can sync up with a mobile device, and a wide selection trail workouts set in locations around the world.


volleyballIntramural sports are a great way to get involved, make friends and get a workout! Designed for students of all skill levels who just like to play sports, intramurals allow students to experience structured individual or team competition at any level. Seton Hall offers more than 10 different intramural sports to play including flag football, basketball, and indoor soccer. Just grab people from your dorm or off The Green and form your own team.

Club Sports

Looking for a way to play sports competitively, but not at the varsity level? A club sport may be just the ticket! Club sports allow participants to learn a new sport, meet people with similar interests and maintain a competitive outlet. Seton Hall offers three club sports: ice hockey, rugby, men’s and women’s volleyball and men’s and women’s soccer. The teams practice regularly and compete with other colleges and universities with club teams.
