Get To Know The Disney College Program

a photo of minnie mouseOn Thursday, September 9, through the Handshake platform, The Disney College Program offered an informational webinar for students nationwide to learn more about the national internship program and how to take advantage of this exciting opportunity. This is one of the many networking and informational events offered in Handshake to all Seton Hall University students!

The online seminar facilitated by Courtland Jackson and Brandon Konrardy, who were both alumni of the program, placed an emphasis on the benefits of the learning experience, networking opportunities, and employee "perks" offered to the Disney employees. The internship experience is designed to provide college students and recent graduates with the opportunity to spend a semester employed at the theme park's Florida location. The hosts emphasized that a substantial portion of this program includes interns working in the theme park developing high-demand skills. Additionally, the internship provides participants with opportunities for learning, academic support, and career path development.

The Seton Hall Career Center offers invaluable resources for students seeking employment opportunities as well as those who desire to simply network and learn more about different employers. Seton Hall University's Handshake has many informational events being offered throughout the semester to all students. Click here to learn more: Handshake Events.
