Dr. Genevieve ZippFirst Faculty Retreat, Mercy and Compassion: Reawakening Our Conscience
Directed by Dr. Genevieve Zipp

October 8, 2015

Mercy and Compassion lie within us all. The question is, “does it lie still?”  In this retreat we will rediscover the parable of the Good Samaritan as we seek to recognize mercy and compassion in ourselves and others, and embody “the medicine of mercy” in the corporal and spiritual works of mercy.

Genevieve Pinto Zipp, P.T., Ed.D., is a Professor in the School of Health and Medical Sciences within the Department of Interprofessional Health Sciences and Health Administration.  She is currently serving as the Director of the Schools Center for Interprofessional Education in Health Sciences.  Her research focus is on motor control issues and teaching and learning practices.
