B.S.E., Elementary and Special Ed/M.S., Speech Language Pathology Admission Requirements

Admission requirements include: 

  • SAT score of 1180 (Reading 610/above & Math 570/above) or ACT score of 23 English and Math, or a passing score on the Praxis Core Academic Battery
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or above
  • Candidates seeking to transfer into the program must meet all of the admission and program requirements as well as not having exceeded 67 credits at the time they seek to enter

Program requirements include:

  • Maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or above in order to maintain guaranteed admission into the graduate speech program (effective for cohort entering fall 2023)
  • Earning a C or higher in all education courses and affiliated courses (English, statistics, two science requirements, and social science course)
  • Earning a B or better in the speech preparatory courses
