Bi-weekly employees and administrators must record time and attendance via the Kronos system. Student workers must record time and attendance via the Web Time Entry, except for student working in PCSS and TLTC who must record time and attendance via the Kronos system.
The timecard must be approved by the employee and his/her supervisor each pay period. Supervisors must ensure the accurate work schedule for their employees are defined. Exempt employees’ actual compensation is determined by the salary, not the hours worked. Therefore, Kronos should be used to administer exception time (vacation, sick, etc.) for exempt employees. Vacation requests should also be facilitated through Kronos.
