The Information Systems and Records Management area is responsible for managing computer systems support for the department, including the administration of Banner processes, procedures, security and reporting. We strive to use the system more efficiently and automate where feasible through analysis of processes and system capabilities. We serve as liaison to campus IT and the Payroll Office and provide technical training and support to the HR staff. The development of HRIS to support policies and programs in all areas within Human Resources, the maintenance of the web based integrated HRIS and human resources web page, and the design of reports to support University programs and satisfy government requirements, are critical to this function. In addition, we ensure data integrity by establishing consistent processes and procedures and manage the records management and archival system for the department.
