Rev. Jean Renald Felicien, J.C.L

Adjunct Professor of Pastoral Theology
School of Theology

Ordained a priest in 2014 for the Diocese of Trenton, I am a native of Haïti. I studied for the priesthood at the Grand Séminaire Notre Dame D’Haiti and Center Institute of Religious Formation (CIFOR). In 2010, I began studies at St. Mary’s Seminary & University in Baltimore, MD, and in 2014, I graduated. After ordination to the priesthood, I was assigned as parochial vicar of Our Lady of Sorrows/St. Anthony in Hamilton, NJ. While serving as parochial vicar in that parish, I coordinated the Haitian apostolate and served as chaplain at Trenton Catholic Academy. In 2018, I enrolled in the School of Canon Law at The Catholic University of America and obtained a licentiate in Canon Law in 2021. Presently I serve as parochial vicar for the Catholic Community of Hopewell Valley, a grouping of three parishes (St. James in Pennington, St. Alphonsus in Hopewell, and St. George in Titusville). I serve at the Diocesan Tribunal as Judge, Vice Chancellor for canonical services. I am also priest secretary to the Bishop of Trenton.
