Instructor
Department of Physical Therapy

I joined the Department of Physical Therapy as an adjunct faculty member in 2013 and became a full-time faculty member in 2016. My teaching responsibilities include the Clinical Assessment and Diagnostic Skills III, Clinical Diagnosis and Management III, and Clinical Diagnosis and Management IV courses within second year of our curriculum. I have practiced as a physical therapist since 2011, working in both outpatient and sub-acute rehabilitation. I am a board-certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists (FAAOMPT). Prior to joining the DPT Program’s core faculty, I worked full-time as a Clinical Specialist Physical Therapist at Kessler Rehabilitation Center and served as faculty within the Select Medical Orthopaedic Residency program.

Through my experiences in residency and fellowship training, I have developed research interests in the areas of orthopaedic physical therapy, active learning, and clinical reasoning. In studying to become a doctor of physical therapy, students progress through a rigorous program consisting of both didactic and clinical coursework. Utilizing evidence-based assessment, intervention, and learning strategies is vital to a student’s success in the development of the analytic and psychomotor skills required of a physical therapist.
