Professor Leonard has been a nurse for nearly 20 years and has worked in hospital, outpatient and ambulatory settings. She has vast experience with both adult and pediatric patients, including over eight years working with oncology patients. She has been employed by Valley Hospital, Saint Joseph’s Hospital and Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital. She is currently an advanced practice nurse at Valley Home Care Maternal Child Health. She received her B.S.N. at the University of Vermont and her M.S.N. at Hunter College. She completed her D.N.P. at William Paterson University in January 2015. Professor Leonard joined Seton Hall University in Fall 2014. She also provides clinical instruction for baccalaureate students at Ramapo College. Her teaching assignments at Seton Hall include Adult Nursing and Child and Family Nursing as well as Individual and Family Development Across the Lifespan. Professor Leonard is the mother of four children, 2 boys and 2 girls and practices as a PNP at Wyckoff Pediatrics.
