I joined the Master of Science in Athletic Training (MSAT) program as a full-time faculty member in 2016. As a 2006 graduate of the MSAT program, I am very proud of the program’s growth over the years. Prior to joining the MSAT program full-time, I had been employed as an athletic trainer since 2006 in the secondary school setting and as an adjunct professor for the Seton Hall MSAT and Doctor of Physical Therapy programs since 2007. During my time in the secondary school setting, I had an evidence-based practice (EBP) approach to patient care, utilizing outcomes measures and disablement models in determining patient goals and success of interventions. Throughout the courses that I teach, I also integrate EBP assignments and teach clinical prediction rules and EBP skills.

I began pursuing my doctorate here at Seton Hall University in 2014. My areas of research interest include clinical integration of EBP assignments into athletic training curriculum and sacroiliac joint dysfunction.
