Janine Toro is an Assistant Professor of UX and Interaction Design at Seton Hall University in the Department of Communication, Media. Her career spans agencies, start-ups, and in-house companies, educating people on the value of UX’s ability to improve lives and its influence on business strategy. Recent clients include Alphabet, Inc., Google, and Elastic.
People are at the heart and center of her process of building meaningful, enjoyable end-to-end experiences. She uses empathy and design thinking methodologies to understand human behavior and to strategize design decisions. Janine believes accessibility and inclusivity in design are critical to create better experiences for all.
