The Office of the Provost, together with the Center for Faculty Development and Teaching, Learning and Technology Center, is proud to offer another installment of its Impact Talks Speaker series featuring Jason Gulya, Ph.D., professor at Berkeley College and the chair of the Artificial Intelligence Council, who will discuss the rapid advancement of generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its impact on higher education.
Following Gulya’s presentation, a panel of Seton Hall students and faculty will share their experiences and perspectives on generative AI, how it has impacted their interactions in the classroom, potential applications and disruptions, and preparing for an AI-infused future. The panel will include:

Jason Gulya, Ph.D. is Professor of English at Berkeley College. He teaches onsite, online, and hybrid courses on writing and the Humanities. In 2020, he was awarded at Berkeley's Faculty of the Year. Currently, his focus is on incorporating Artificial Intelligence in the classroom. He has trained hundreds of faculty members, students, and administrators on how to use AI to become more innovative and inclusive in their work and lives. He has spoken on many podcasts. Recently, he was featured in Business Insider for his unique approach to prompting ChatGPT.
