Eligibility Requirements

  1. Available to graduate students. 
  2. Students in STEM M.S. with thesis and Ph.D. programs in the departments of Chemistry and Biochemistry, Mathematics and Computer Science, Physics, and some Biological Sciences (e.g., biophysics, bioinformatics, and biomathematics, computational biology, etc.) who are planning to pursue Ph.D. degrees. These fellowships are not to be used for students planning careers in healthcare and related fields. 
  3. Female students
  4. U.S. Citizens
  5. Intends to pursue research or teaching
  6. Excels academically

Application Procedures

The application contents should be submitted to Mitra Shojania Feizabadi, Ph.D. ([email protected]) by April 1. Please review the application guidelines for application criteria, procedure and more information. 

Renewal Procedures

The Fellow must meet annually with the CBL Committee in April of each year to discuss progress toward graduation and submit an annual written report according to instructions provided by the CBL Committee.
